Alachua County   } Received of Noah Townsend One
                   hundred and fifty dollars for my
share of the lands belonging to the Estate of Mary Gil-
bert late of said County deceased, being the One fourth
of said real Estate, And I upon my part do warrant
and will forever defend the rights and titles unto
Noah Townsend against the claims of myself my heirs
or any person claiming under us the said lands
or any part thereof
Signed sealed and delivered this 22d day of November

     This Deed made this twentieth day of January
in the Year eighteen hundred and sixty nine by Charles
W. Brush of the City of Baltimore and State of Maryland
Executor of the last will and Testament of Nehemiah
Brush deceased. Whereas the said Nehemiah Brush
departed this life leaving a last Will and Testament
bearing date the 10th day of March 1843 which will
has been duly proven and is now of Record among
the Land records of Alachua County in the State of Flor-
ida. And Whereas the said Charles W. Brush the only
surviving Executor in said will named under and
by virtue of the power and authority in him vested
thereby hath sold unto Primus Player, the lot of ground
hereinafter described for the sum of Forty dollars which
sum the said Player has paid to the said Brush as is
hereby admitted. Now this Indenture Witnesseth that
in consideration of the premises and of the sum of
One dollar the said Charles W. Brush, Executor as af-
oresaid doth sell and convey unto the said Primus
Player all that lot or parcel of ground Situate and
lying in the Town of Gainesville in the County of
Alachua and State of Florida, being part of lot num-
ber Twenty four (24) of Brush's addition to Gainesville
And described as follows, that is to say, Beginning
at a post One hundred and twenty two feet Northerly
