To All Persons to whom these Presents Shall Come, Greeting:
Whereas, by virtue of proceedings held under and in pursuance of an
Act of Congress entitled "An act to establish a uniform System
of bankruptcy throughout the United States" approved March
2d, 1867, in the District Court of the United States for the Northern
District of Florida in the case of Lemuel Wilson of Alachua
County Florida who was adjudged a Bankrupt upon his own
petition; And whereas, Jonathan C. Greeley, Assignee of the above
named bankrupt, duly chosen, appointed and qualified, did
on the Second day of April 1870 present his petition to the
aforesaid Court, Setting forth, amongst other things, That
"he believed it to be for the interest of the creditors that the
real estate Should be Sold" and praying the Said Court
that the Said real estate might be Sold in pursuance of the
Act of Congress in Such case made and provided; and the
Said petition having been referred by the Said Court to
Franklin Fraser Register in Bankruptcy for Said District
for examination and to make Such order therein as Should
be proper and according to law; and the Said Register up=
on examination thereof, did order and direct that the Said
assignee, after having given due Notice of the time and
Place of Sale, Should expose the Said real estate for Sale
by Public auction and Sell the Same to the highest bidder
therefor, and clear of all incumbrances; and the Said
Jonathan C. Greeley, assignee as aforesaid, of the Said
bankrupt, after having Given legal Notice of the time
and Place of Sale, did on the fifth day of May 1870 at
Jacksonville Florida, expose and offer for Sale at auction
to the highest bidder, all that certain land and estate
belonging to the estate of the Said bankrupt, and known
and described as follows to wit: SW corner of Section (19)
nineteen forty acres it being one quarter of a Mile Square
also S1/2 Lot (4) four and NW1/4 of SW1/4 of Sec (24) twenty four
and S1/2 Lot (1) one and North half lot (6) Six Sec (25) Twenty five all in
Township (8) Eight Range (19) Nineteen S and E also E1/2 of NE1/4 Sec (13)
Thirteen Township (8) Eight Range (18) Eighteen S & E and SW1/4 of SE1/4
of Sec (12) Twelve Township (8) Eight Range (18) Eighteen S & E Containing
38 17/100 acres Thirty Eight 17/100 acres also Lots (3) & (4) Three & four Block (6) Six
Range (2) Two in the City of Newnansville. All the above described Land
being in the County of Alachua State of Florida and Sold the Same
to Rafaila Wilson. She being the highest bidder therefor, for the
Sum of Thirty five dollars, lawful Money of the United States
Now, Know All Men By These Presents, That I, Jonathan C. Greeley,
assignee, as aforesaid, for and in consideration of the Sum of Thirty
five dollars to me in hand paid by the Said Rafaila Wilson
at and before the ensealing and delivery hereof have granted, bar=
gained, Sold, aliened, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these
Presents do grant, bargain, Sell alien, release, convey and confirm
unto the Said Rafaila Wilson her heirs and assigns, forever, all
