This Indenture, made the Twenty Seventh day of October in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Sixty Six.
Between Arthur J.T. Wright of the City of Lake City and State
of Florida of the first part, and Garrett Vanzant of the City of
Lake City and State aforesaid, of the Second part:
Witnesseth, That the Said party of the first part, for and in con=
Sideration of the Sum of Five hundred dollars lawful money
of the United States of America, to him in hand paid, the re=
ceipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained,
Sold, conveyed, and confirmed and by these presents do grant,
bargain, Sell, convey, and confirm unto the Said party of the
Second part and his heirs all that Certain Messuage or tenements
and tract of Land, lying and being Situated in Alachua County
and State of Florida, and designated in the "Official Plat of the
Survey, returned to the General Land office by the Survey General"
of the United States - Warrant No eight thousand Six hundred and
eighty Three" being the South West quarter of Section Seven in
Township Seven, South of Range Nineteen east, in the District
of Land Subject to Sale at Newnansville Florida, containing
one hundred and Sixty acres and twenty hundredth of an acre"
Together with all and Singular the tenements hereditaments
and appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise
appertaining: To Have and to Hold the Said lands, with
the rights, members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever
with the remainders, reversions, rents, issues and profits to
the only proper use and behoof of the Said party of the Sec=
ond part, and his heirs. And the Said party of the first 
part, to him and his heirs, do covenant with the Said
party of the Second part, and his heirs, that he will forever
Warrant and Defend the above named premises to the Said
party of the Second part, and his heirs, against the law=
ful demands of all persons Whatsoever.
And This Indenture Further Witnesseth, That Harriet
Wright wife of the Said Arthur J.T. Wright making her=
Self a party with her husband to this conveyances, for the
purpose of relinquishing her right of dower in and to
the premises granted, for and in the consideration of the Sum
of one dollar to her paid at and before the execution of
these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged.
hath granted, bargained, Sold relinquished, renounced,
and forever released, and by these presents doth grant,
bargain, sell, relinquish, renounce, and forever release
unto the Said Garrett Vanzant all her estate, title property,
dower, or right of dower in and to the Said above de=
Scribed and granted Land and tenements and the
appurtenances: To Have And to Hold the Same freely
and fully, and discharged of all further or future claim
of or by her the Said Harriet Wright or her heirs or
representatives, unto the Said Garrett Vanzant his heirs
