This Indenture made the thirty first day of May in the year
of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and Seventy Two Be-
tween Garrett VanZant of the City of Lake City and State of
Florida of the first part and James E. Young of the Same place
of the Second part. Witnesseth, That the said party of the first
part for and in consideration of the Sum of Four Hundred and
fifty Dollars ($45000) lawful money of the United States
of America to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged have granted bargained, sold, Conveyed
and Confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain
Sell Convey and Confirm unto the said party of the second
part and his heirs all That Certain Messuage or tenement
and tract of land lying and being Situate in Alachua
County and State of Florida and designated on the
