Office by the Surveyor General of the United States Warrant
No Eight Thousand Six hundred and eighty three being
the South West Quarter of Section Seven in Township Seven South
of Range nineteen East in the District of Lands Subject to Sale
at Newnansville Florida containing One hundred and
Sixty acres, and twenty hundredths of an Acre be the Same
more or less. Together with all and Singular the tenements
hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in
any wise appertaining To have and to hold the said Lands
with the rights members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever
with the remainders reversions, rents, issues, and profits to the
only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second
part And his heirs And the said party of the first part for
himself and his heirs do covenant with the Said party
of the second part and his heirs and they will forever warrant
and defend the above named premises to the said party
of the second part and his heirs against the lawful demands
of all persons Whatsoever, And this Indenture further Witnesseth, That
Julia C. VanZant, wife of the said Garrett VanZant making her-
self a party with her said husband to this conveyance for the purpose
of relinquishing her right of dower in and to the premises gran-
ted for and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar to her
paid at and before the execution of these presents the receipt where-
of is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained, Sold, relin-
quished renounced and forever released, and by these presents
doth grant, bargain, Sell, relinquish, renounce, and forever
release unto the said James E. Young, all her estate, title, property
dower, or right of dower in and to the Said above described and
granted lands and tenements and the appurtenances. To Have
and to hold the Same freely and fully and discharged of all
further or future claim of or by her the Said Julia C. VanZant
or her heirs or representatives, unto the said James E. Young his heirs
and assigns forever. In Witness Whereof the said party of the first
part to these presents and Julia C. VanZant his wife have here-
unto set their hands and Seals the day and year first above written

            Know all men by these presents, That I Julia
C. VanZant wife of the above named Garrett VanZant
do by these presents made and executed by me Seperate and
apart from my husband and in the presence of Keightley
S. Waldron a Judicial Officer of this State Acknowledge And
declare that I did make myself a party to the foregoing Deed
of Conveyance for the purpose of relinquishing my right of
dower in and to the lands in Said Conveyance described and
granted, and that said relinquishment and renunciation of
dower was and is made freely and voluntarily and with-
