This Indenture Made this thirty first day of October one
thousand eight hundred and Seventy one Between J.J.R.
Holder and Elizabeth Holder his wife of the County of
Alachua and State of Florida of the first part and
Thomas Williams of the Same place of the Second part,
Witnesseth That the Said party of the first part for
and in consideration of the Sum of Four hundred and
eighty Seven Dollars and fifty cents lawful Money of
the United States to him duly paid before the delivery
hereof hath bargained and Sold and by these presents
doth grant and convey to the Said party of the Sec=
ond his heirs and assigns forever, all that Certain
piece or parcel of land lying in the County of
Alachua and State of Florida and which is known
and described as follows, to Wit: The North half of lot
No (1) one in Sec (25) twenty five T8 S of R19 E Contain=
ing forty acres more or less together with all and Sin=
gular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
and all the estate title and interest of the Said party
of the first part therein, and the Said party of the first
part doth covenant and agree with the party of
the Second part, that they are the lawful owner of said
tract of land: and that they will warrant and defend
the Said granted premises in the quiet and peceable
possession of the Said party of the Second part his
heirs and assigns forever.
In Witness Whereof We have hereunto Set our hands and
Seals this 31st day of October 1871.
