This Indenture made this the twenty Seventh day of
February in the year one thousand eight hundred and
Seventy two between Elizabeth Varnadore, and William
W. Scott of the County of Alachua and State of Florida
of the first part and John J. Breeden of the Same
place of the Second part. Witnesseth that the Said
party of the first part for and in Consideration
of the Sum of two hundred dollars lawful money
of the United States to him duly paid before the
delivery hereof hath bargained and Sold and by
these presents doth grant and convey to the Said
party of the Second part his heirs and assigns
forever all that certain piece or parcel of land
lying and being in the County of Alachua and
State of Florida and which is known and described
as follows, to wit: The South half of the North west
quarter of the South West quarter, Containing twenty acres
more or less, and the North half of the South west quarter
of the South West quarter Containing twenty acres
more or less - all lying in Section eighteen in town=
Ship Seven South of Range Nineteen east; together
with all and Singular the tenements hereditaments
and appurtenances and all the Estate and interest of
the Said party of the first part therein, And the
Said party of the first part doth hereby covenant
and agree with the Said party of the Second part
that at the time of the delivery hereof the Said party of the
first part is the lawful owner of the premises above granted
and Seized thereof in fee Simple absolute and that they
will warrant and defend the above granted premises in
the quiet and peaceable possession of the Said party
of the Second part his heirs and assigns forever.
In Witness Whereof we have hereunto Set our hands
