To Catherine Griffin of Alachua County Florida.
 Know all men by these presents, that I W.T. Burge
of Charleston, S.C. in consideration of the Sum of one
hundred dollars to me in hand paid, by the Said Cath=
erine Griffin of the County of Alachua and State of
Florida; the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, do
hereby give, grant, sell and convey, unto the Said Cath=
erine Griffin her heirs and assigns all that parcel or
tenement of land known as Lot Number one (1) Block
(2) two Situated in the town of Archer County of Alachua
and State of Florida: to have and to hold, the aforegran=
ted premises to the Said Catherine Griffin, her heirs and
assigns to and their use in behoof forever, and I the
Said W.T. Burge do covenant with the Said Catherine
Griffin, her heirs and assigns and administrators, that
I am lawfully Seized in fee Simple of the aforegranted
premises, that they are free from all liens and incumbran=
ces, that I have good right to Sell and convey the Same,
to the Said Catherine Griffin, and that I and my heirs
                 and 
and Executors will^by these presents do warrant and defend
the Same to the Said Catherine Griffin her heirs and assigns
forever against the lawful claims and demands of
all persons, In Witness Whereof I the Said W.T. Burge, to=
gether with my wife L.C. Burge who hereby relinq=
quishes her right of dower in the Said premises,
have hereunto Set our hands and Seals this the
Fifth day of April AD 1872 }
