Alachua County } This indenture made this twentieth
day of February AD eighteen hundred
and Seventy two Between James B. Brown of Alachua
County State of Florida of the one part and Mary Amelia
McMillan of Alachua County State of Florida, of the other
part. Witnesseth that the Said James B. Brown for and in
consideration of Personal esteem and friendship unto the
Said Mary Amelia McMillan have, given, granted, alien=
ed, released and confirmed and by these presents does give,
grant, alien release and confirm unto the Said Mary Amelia
McMillan her heirs and assigns all that piece, parcel, or tract
of land Situated lying and being in Alachua County
State of Florida and described as follows to wit: Lot num=
ber Seven (7) in North West quarter of Section five (5) Town=
Ship ten (10) of Range twenty (20) East containing ten (10) acres
less fifteen feet on each Side to be left as a Street to=
gether with the privileges and all things appurtenant
thereto and all the estate, right title and interest of
him the Said James B. Brown in and thereto.
To Have and to Hold the Said messuage and all the
appurtenances thereof to her the Said Mary Amelia
McMillan her heirs and assigns to her and their
proper use and behoof forever.
In testimony Whereof I have hereunto Set my hand
and seal this twentieth day of February AD 1872
