                  This Indenture made on the (12th) twelvth
day of December Eighteen hundred and Seventy two
between Patience E. Smith, James Watson Smith, William
Smith and Mary C. Smith parties of the first part, and
David P. Newsom, of the Second part Witnesseth that
Whereas the Said party of the Second part claims his
distributive Share of the Estate of Joel B. Smith deceased
as one of the hiers of Said Estate, and Whereas it is
the desire of the Said parties of the first part, to have 
a final Settlement with the Said party of the Second
party and whereas further it has been mutually
agreed by and between the Said parties of the first
part and Second part, that the Said party of the
Second part would relinquish all claims to any
portion of the Estate of the Said Joel B. Smith deceased
in consideration of having certain Town Lots in the
Village of Micanopy conveyed to him in Fee Sim=
ple by the Said parties of the first part which
certain Town Lots are herein after more particularly
described now therefore for the foregoing consideration
                further 
as well as for the^Sum of five dollars to them
           at 
in hand paid^and before the Sealing and delivery hereof
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the Said
parties of the first part have given granted bargained
                                         so 
Sold and conveyed and by these presents do^give grant
bargain Sell and convey to the Said party of Second
part the following described parcel of land on
Town Lots Situate in the Village of Miccanopy
that is to Say Lots No one Tow, Three and four of
Township Two Range Three , also Lots Tow and three
of Township two and Range two, Also Lots one, three
and four of Township two and Range two Also Lots one, three
and four of Township four, and Range four also Lots
three and four of Township four and Range three and
Lots three and four of Township four and Range two.
Said Lots being described according to a Survey
of the Same, made during the lifetime of the
Said Joel B. Smith deceased and containing one
acre each exclusive of the Streets and alleys making
in all thirteen acres of land more or less, Situate as
aforesaid in the Village of Miccanopy in the Coun
ty of Alachua and State of Florida.
  To have and to hold the afore described and
conveyed premises together with all and Singular
the houses buildings inforcement and apurtenan=
ces to the Same belonging or in any wise appertain=
ing unto the Said party of the Second part his
heirs executors or administrators and assigns
