                     Alachua County   } Before me W.K. Cessna Clerk of the
                     Circuit Court personally came W.H. Sanders, who being
                     duly sworn upon oath says he with Z.A. Cumpton wit-
                     nessed the foregoing deed, Signed sealed and delivered for
                     the condition and purposes therein set forth

                     Whereas I George L. Barnes being duly appointed and
                     commissioned Sheriff of Alachua County and State
                     of Florida, and made ex officio, administrator of the
                     Derelict Estate of Daniel Hemingway Deceased, and Where
                     as I the said George L. Barnes Administrator as aforesaid
                     pursuant to the Statutes in such cases made and provided
                     did duly advertise to be sold on the first of February
                     A.D. 1869, the property hereinafter to be more fully
                     described and set forth, and belonging to said derelict
$.50 US I.R.S.       Estate of Daniel Hemingway Deceased, and did on that
   Cancelled         day sell the same at public auction according to law
                     to James M. Vanlandingham for the sum of Two hundre-
                     -d dollars, being the highest sum bid for the same.
                     Now, therefore know all men by these presents that I the
                     said George L. Barnes as administrator Ex-officio as afore
                     -said, for and in consideration of the sum of Two
                     hundred dollars to me in hand paid, the receipt whereof
                     I do hereby acknowledge, by James M. Vanlandingham
                     have granted, bargained, and sold, and by these presents
                     do grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said
                     James M. Vanlandingham his heirs and assigns forever
                     the following property to wit; North half of North East
                     quarter of Sec 10, and South half of south East quarter of Section
                     3 all in Township Eight and Range Twenty; together
                     with all the right, title, and interest which the said
                     Daniel Hemingway Deceased had in or to the same
                     To have and to hold the same as fully as I the said
                     George L. Barnes Sheriff, and Ex-officio administrator,
                     as aforesaid, might, could, or ought to sell
