                 } that he saw Geo L. Barnes sign and
execute and deliver as sheriff and ex officio adminis
trator the foregoing Deed of conveyance for the
uses and purposes as therein contained and ex-
pressed and that he together with W.K. Cessna
signed the same as subscribing witnesses thereto.

County of Alachua } This Indenture made this the first
day of March AD 1869 by George L. Barnes Sheriff of
said County of the first part and Elizabeth J. Wimberly
of the County and State aforesaid of the second part
Witnesseth:
   Whereas by virtue of sundry writs of Fieri Facias
issued out of the Circuit Court for Alachua County, and
to the said sheriff directed, he was commanded that
of the goods and chattles, lands and tenements of
Atkinson Pooser he cause to be made the sum of one
hundred and sixty 12/100 dollars which James Thomas
lately received in our Circuit Court together with Inter
est and costs thereon, as well as the sum of Four
hundred twenty one 86/100 dollars which Phillip Dell lately 
recovered in said Court together with all Interests &
and costs thereon, as well as the sum of one hun
dred and fifty three 31/100 which T.A. Bradford lately re
covered in our said Circuit Court together with all In
terests and costs thereon, as well as the sum of Three
Thousand Two hundred and sixty two 00/100 dollars which Ste=
phen McCall, recovered &c lately recovered in our said
Court against Atkinson Pooser, together with all In
terests and costs thereon and whereas the said sheriff by
virtue of said writs did on the 20th day of Jany A
D 1869 levy upon and seized the property therein after
described, and whereas the said George L. Barnes as
sheriff as aforesaid did by virtue of said writs and
