 This Indenture made the entered thirtieth day of
September in the year of Lord one thousand eight hun
dred and sixty nine Between George A. Quinby of Summit
in the State of New Jersey formerly of the City & State of
New York party of the first part and James H. Horden of
the City of New York party of the second part - Witnesseth
That the said party of the first part for and in consid
                   Lawful money of the U.S. of America to him
eration of the sum of one dollar^in hand paid by
the said party of the second part, at or before the en
sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt where
of is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold
aliened, remised, released, conveyed and confirmed and
by these presents, doth grant, bargain, sell, alien,
remise, release, convey and confirm unto the said party of
the second part, and to his heirs and assigns, forever all
that certain piece or parcel of land lying and being in
the State of Florida County of Alachua in the Arredondo
Grant, and known on the plan of the survey of
said Grant made by Burr & Washington contain=
ing one thousand acres, and bounded on the North
by a tract of land designated on said plan as land of
Thos Napier on the East by section (20) twenty Township
(10) ten, Range (20) twenty, on the south by a tract of land
designated on said plan, as land owned by John H. Mc
Intosh on the west by fractional section twenty four (24) town-
ship (10) ten Range (19) nineteen of lands belonging to the
Estate of Maxy Dell dec'd and also all the rights, title and
interest of the party of the first part, in and to the Cattle stock
produce, provisions, stores, tools and utensils of every kind
now on or upon said premises or pertaining thereto, Togeth
er with all the privileges and appurtenances herewith
belonging or in anywise appertaining
  Together with all and singular the tenements,
hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or
in anywise appertaining, and the reversion and rever
sions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues, and prof
its thereof, and also, all the estate, right, title, interest
property, possession, claim and demand whatsoever
as well in law as in equity, of the said party of the first
part, of, in or to the above described premises, and every
part and parcel thereof, with the appurtenances
To have and to hold all and singular the above
mentioned and described premises, together with the
appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part,
his heirs or assigns, forever -
