Alachua County   } This Indenture made on the Twentieth 
day of October in the year One thousand Eight hundred
& sixty eight Between E.P. Hickson & Annie P. Hickson his
wife of the first part & James T. Thomas of the second part
Witnesseth, That for and in consideration of the sum of
five hundred dollars to them in hand paid at & before
the sealing & delivery hereof the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged the said parties of the first part have given
granted bargained sold & delivered & by these presents do so
give grant bargain sell & deliver to said party of the second
part the following named & described property, That is to say:
The south East quarter of the lot of land known as Number
Eleven of the Twenty thousand acre grant formerly known as
the Moses E. Levy grant containing four hundred & nineteen
96/100 acres more or less, Situate in the County of Alachua & State
of Florida, To have & to hold the said above named & conveyed
parcel of land, Together with all & singular the improvements,
belonging or in any wise appertaining to the said party of the
second part, & to his heirs & assigns in fee simple forever
And the said parties of the first part, covenant & agree
with the said party of the second part, That they are seized in
fee of the afore granted & conveyed premises, That they are free
from all incumbrance. That they have good right to sell
& convey the same to the said party of the second part. And
that they their heirs Executors or administrators shall warrant
& defend the afore said property to the said party of the second
part his heirs Executors or administrators & assigns. In testimony
whereof the said parties of the first part, have hereunto set their
hands & affixed their seals on the day & the year first above written

                            Personally appeared before me a Justice
of the Peace in & for the County of Alachua & State of Florida
Mrs Annie P. Hickson who seperate & apart from her husband
on a private examination acknowledges that she executed the
foregoing relinquishment of dower of her own free will &
accord, Annie P. Hickson, Witness my hand & seal this ninth
day of November, AD 1869
