                  Know all men by these presents that I Nathan Gran
ger of state and county mentioned for and in consideration of the sum
of Forty dollars to me in hand paid by Abselum Whitehurst, the re-
ceipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have given granted bargained
sold and released unto the said Abselum Whitehurst, the following de-
scribed lands viz - The North Half of the South East portion of section thir
ty one, in Township Eight South of Range number seventeen East
containing seventy-nine and Ninety three hundredths acres more
or less lying and being in Alachua County State of Florida, and none
in the U.S. Surveys as above described unto the said Abselum S. White
hurst his Heirs and assigns for ever and I the above named Nathan
Granger do hearby relinquish set appart and turn over unto the said
Abselum S. Whitehurst all my right title, claims and demands unto
the above described lands in fee simple

Know all men by these presents that I Elizabeth Granger wife
of Nathan Granger in the foregoing deed of conveyance of real
Estate to Abselum S. Whitehurst do hereby relinquish renounce
and Release to them & theirs grant their name all my right of
dowery in and for the land and tenements therein conveyed in wit
ness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this
the one thousand Eight Hundred and sixty-seven
