Alachua County } Whereas an order of the Judge of the
Circuit Court for the Fifth Judicial Circuit of Florida was
made at the Fall Term of said Court 1872 at the Gainesville
Alachua County in a case wherein F.D. Scarlett Trustee
and others were Plaintiffs and Geo W. Means Admr of
Jno W. Anderson Dedd and others were defendants authorizing
me, the said Geo W. Means administrator of said Estate
of John W. Anderson deceased to sell the real Estate of the
said Anderson for the payment of Debts against the
said Estate; In conformity with said order, I Geo W.
Means Administrator as aforesaid did expose to
public outcry at Gainesville the Followng described
property to wit; Lots numbers eight (8) and nine (9) in
the Moses Levy Grant in Alachua County and
Matheson & McMillan trustees for the creditors became
the purchasers thereof at the sum of Five Thousand
Dollars. Now know all men by these presents that I
Geo W. Means administrator as aforesaid of John W.
Anderson deceased, by virtue of the premises and in
consideration of the sum of Five Thousand Dollars bid by
the said Matheson & McMillan, trustees for Creditors |
