Alachua County } This Indenture made this the Four=
tenth day of February Eighteen hundred and seventy three
(1873) between Cynthia A. May and her husband Thomas
J. May of said State and County parties of the first part
and Mrs. Fannie E. Tomkies of the same State and
County of the second part Witnesseth that for and
in consideration of the sum of Eight hundred Dollars
(the receipt of the sum of Five hundred is hereby acknowl=
edged by the parties of the first part from the party of
the second part) the said parties of the first part do
hereby bargain, sell, convey and confirm unto the said
party of the second part, her heirs, administrators and
assigns all that piece or parcel of land, being three
acres more or less situate in the town of Gainesville
Florida, East of Sweet=water branch, being a part of that
lot or tract of land, known as the "Mrs Dinkins place"
conveyed by deed of James B. Bailey and his wife Mary
N. Bailey, conveyed on the 27th day of October A.D. 1856 to
Barbara Dinkins and being that portion of the same
devised in last will and testament of said Barbara
Dinkins to Mrs Mary S. Cannon more particularly de=
scribed as Lot number seven (7) East Gainesville in
Sec. four (4) Township ten (10) Range twenty (20) Arre=
dondo Grant, containing four and one half acres, less
one acre & one half acre of said lot, conveyed as aforesaid
to Mrs Barbara Dinkins and now belonging to Mike
O'Hara. To have and to hold, the above granted premises
unto the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns
in fee simple title forever, together with all the rights,
privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging. And
the said parties of the first part do hereby convenant and
warrant unto the party of the second part, her heirs and assigns
that they have a right to sell said land, that they are legally
seized and possessed of the same, and they will warrant |
