(No. 5624) Office of Commissioner of lands and Immigration
           Tallahassee Florida January 30th, 1873
I hereby certify that on the fourteenth day of June A.D. 1869
Solomon F. Halliday purchased the following lands belong=
ing to the Internal Improvement making full payment there=
for at the rate of one dollar and twenty five cents per acre viz;
the South East quarter of the South East quarter of Section Three
in Township Eleven South of Range Twenty two East,
containing thirty nine 93/100 acres and said lands were
conveyed to the said Solomon F. Halliday by deed by
the Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund by
Deed bearing date the day and year above written
      Witness my hand and the seal of the Florida
      State land Office the date first above written

Alachua County    }  This Indenture made this the fourth
day of September A.D. 1873 by Louis A. Barnes Sheriff of
said County of the first part and Thomas W. Chesnut of
said County and State of the second part Witnesseth that
whereas by virtue of a decree of Foreclosure in Chancery issu=
ed out of the Circuit Court of Alachua County & State
of Florida wherein Thomas W. Chesnut was complainant
& Sarah A. Stringfellow Executrix defendant and to the said
Sheriff delivered and directed he was commanded that of the
goods and chattels, lands and tenements of the said Sarah
A. Stringfellow Executrix he cause to be made the sum of
Eight thousand Dollars ($8000-) which the said Thomas
W. Chesnut lately recovered against the said Sarah A. String=
fellow Executrix; and whereas the said Sheriff by virtue of
said writ did upon the      day of     A.D. 1873 levy
upon and seize the property hereinafter described and
whereas the said L.A. Barnes as Sheriff as aforesaid did
by virtue of said writ and pursuant to the Statute in such
case made and provided duly advertised the said
property for sale on the 1st Monday in September the 1st day
