thereof A.D. 1873 and did on that day sell the same
at public auction according to law to the said
Thomas W. Chesnut of said County and State
for the sum of one hundred dollars, being the highest
sum bid for the same.
           Now therefore know all men by these presents
that I, the said Louis A. Barnes as Sheriff as aforesaid
by virtue of the said writ and decree of Foreclosure
and for and in consideration of the sum of one hun=
dred dollars to me in hand paid by the party of
the second part have granted, bargained, sold and
conveyed and by these presents doth bargain, sell
and convey unto the said party of the second part and
to his heirs and assigns forever all the following prop-
erty to wit; Section seven (7) Township 10 Range 19,
Section 12 (12) Township 10 Range 18 Situate
in Alachua County Florida. Together with all the
Right, title and interest which the said Sarah A. Stringfellow
Executrix of W.H. Stringfellow had in the said property.
  To have & to hold the same to him the said Thomas
W. Chesnut, his heirs Executors, administrators and assigns
forever, as fully as I, the said Louis A. Barnes as Sheriff
as aforesaid, might, could or ought to sell and convey
the same.
  Given under my hand and seal this the Fourth
day of September A.D. 1873

Louis A. Barnes who being duly sworn says that he exe=
cuted the foregoing Deed of Conveyance to Thomas W. Chesnut
for the uses & purposes therein expressed and that he executed
the same as Sheriff of Alachua County Florida
