County of Alachua} Know all men by these presents
that I, William C. Beckham and Martha E. Beckham
his wife both of the aforesaid State and County in con-
sideration of the sum of One Dollar lawful money paid
to me by James M. Sparkman of the aforesaid State and
County, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do hereby
grant, bargain sell and convey unto the said James M.
Sparkman and to his heirs and assigns all my right
title, claim and interest of Lot seven in Section Four
Township Nine Range twenty two containing 39 04/100 acres
of land more or less; To have and to hold the above de=
scribed land to the said James M. Sparkman to his heirs
and assigns forever.

William C. Beckham and Martha E. Beckham to me well
known, and acknowledged that they executed the fore=
going Deed for the purposes therein mentioned.

this 3rd day of September A.D. 1873.

Peace in and for said County personally came William C.
Beckham & his wife Martha E. Beckham & severally acknowledged
to me that they signed the foregoing Deed for the purposes therein con=
tained and the said Martha E. Beckham being examined
separate & apart from her said husband declared that she
signed the same freely & voluntarily and without fear or compulsion
of her said husband. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set
my hand and seal this 3rd day September A.D. 1873.
