Alachua County } This Indenture made and entered
into this the third day of November A.D. 1873 between Solo=
mon F. Halliday of said State and County as Referee the
said party of the first part and George R. Fairbanks of
Sewannee Tennessee, of the second part Witnesseth
That whereas by virtue of a decree of the Circuit Court
of Alachua County in Chancery granted by His Honor J.H. Goss
Judge of said Circuit in the cause of Mary M. Lewis complain=
aint as Daniel R. June Defts et al and by virtue of the appoint
ment of Referee in said cause, I was authorized and require=
ed to execute and carry out said Decree and was command
ed that of the said mentioned property of the Defendants
therein, I cause to be made the sum of $2854 Dollars
which the said Mary M. Lewis lately recovered against
the said Daniel R. June et al Defendants therein; and
whereas by virtue of the premises and in accordance
with law I did duly advertise and expose to sale the
following described property at public auction, viz;
Section Seven (7) and Fractional Section Eighteen (18) Town=
ship Ten (10) Range Twenty (20) South and East in the Arro=
donda Grant situated in said State and County and on the
first Monday in June A.D. 1873 did sell the same to George
R. Fairbanks the highest bidder for the sum of $2500.
Dollars. Now therefore know all men by these presents
that I, the said Solomon F. Halliday as Referee as afore=
said by virtue of the said premises and in consideration
of the sum of $2500 Dollars paid by the party of the |
