Alachua County  } Know all men by these presents
that I, Edward Haile, for and in consideration of
the sum of Five hundred Dollars to me in hand
paid by Serena Haile of the aforesaid County and
State do hereby bargain sell and convey, remise,
release and forever quit claim unto her the said
Serena Haile her heirs executors administrators
and assigns all that certain tract or parcel of
land situated in the said County of Alachua in
the State of Florida the same being a part or por=
tion of what is known as the "Arredondo Grant"
bounded and described as follows, to wit: All that
certain forty (40) acres of land which is situated in
the north west portion of the north west quarter of
Section No. twenty nine (29) Township ten (10) in
Range nineteen (19) which did belong formerly to
Thomas E. Haile and on which the said Thomas E.
Haile and Serena Haile his wife have a dwelling
house and other improvements in which they now
reside with their family and have resided for several
years, which said forty acres has since it was owned by
said Thomas E. Haile been conveyed to me by Saml
C. Tucker, the assignee in Bankruptcy of the said
Thomas E. Haile and which said forty acres of land was
made a special reservation by me in a deed from my
self to Ashel G. Darwin of New York State, executed and
dated on the Eleventh day of November AD 1871 which
said Deed conveyed to said Ashel G. Darwin the said
Section No. 29 Township 10 in Range 19, excepting the
portion herein described and certain other portions
of said Section in said Deed more fully and particularly
set forth and described, To have and to hold the above
described and released premises together with all and singular
the tenements, hereditaments fixtures and appurtenances to
her the said Serena Haile and to her heirs executors adminis
trators and assigns to her and their separate use and benefit
forever. In witness whereof I, the said Edward Haile have hereunto set
my hand and affixed my seal this the 6th day of December AD 1873
