Alachua County  } This Indenture made this 26th March in
the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and seventy
three between Daniel Lynn of said state and county of the
first part, and James D. Matheson & Co., Merchants of Gainesville
in same state and county, Witnesseth:- That for and in consid-
eration of the sum of Eleven hundred dollars in hand paid, the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the said party of the 
first part hath sold, granted and conveyed, and by these pres-
ents doth sell grant and convey unto the said parties of
the second part, their assigns in fee simple all that tract or
parcel of land known and described as the north-east quarter
of section twenty-one ~21~ township eight Range nineteen ~19~
South and east. To have and to hold the said premises
and the tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances there
unto belonging in fee simple forever unto the said
James D. Matheson & Co. their heirs and assigns. And the
said party of the first part unto the said parties of the second
part hereby convenant for himself, his heirs, and administra
tors and executors to warrant by these presents and forever
defend the above granted premises against the claim or
claims of all persons whomsoever.-

named grantor in consideration of five dollars in hand
paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath
relinquished and renounced and granted and doth by
these presents relinquish renounce and grant unto James
D. Matheson & Co. all her right and title to dower in the 
North-east quarter of section twenty-one ~21~ Township eight
~8~ Range nineteen ~19~ South and East, and the tene-
ments, hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belong
ing. In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and 
seal the day and year first above written.
