Alachua County  } Know all men by these presents
we, E. Lawrence King and wife Mary Ellen King of the State
and County above mentioned for and in consideration of
the Sum of ($500.00) Five hundred Dollars to us in
hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged 
have granted, bargained, sold delivered and conveyed
and by these presents doth grant, bargain sell, deliver
and convey unto Dr. C.A. Simmons of Starke Bradford
County Florida a certain tract or parcel of land
lying in the State and County above first mentioned
and described as the North 1/2 of the N.W. 1/4 and the South
west 1/2 of the S.W. 1/4 of Section (18) Eighteen Township (10)
Ten Range (22) Twenty two containing about one
hundred and fifty acres more or less = Together 
with all and singular the rights members hereditaments
and appurtenances belonging or in any wise belonging
To have and to hold the premises above mentioned unto
the said C.A. Simmons his heirs or assigns forever.
And we do hereby bind ourselves to warrant and forever
defend the premises to the said C.A. Simmons against
myself my heirs or assigns and every person or persons 
claiming lawfully the same or any part thereof.
   In witness whereof we hereunto set our hands and
seals in the year of Lord one thousand eight hundred
and seventy three in the presence of this July 28th 1873.

Alachua County  } Before me personally came E. Lawrence King
the grantor in the foregoing Deed of conveyance who acknowledged
to me that he signed sealed and delivered the foregoing Deed for
the purposes therein mentioned and that he executed the
same as the Agent of E.L. King Sr. under Power of Attorney.
