The following is an extract from notes of a survey made
for Thos W. Chesnut, cutting off a tract of land contain=
ing one hundred and one 74/100 acres from Section seventeen
R XIX E T X S and North West 1/4 Section sixteen R XIX
E. T X S. Arrodonda Grant- Commencing at
lightwood Knot marking N.E. corner Section seven
teen, running due west on North boundary of Section
seventeen 29.37 chains to lightwood Knot
corner thence 29.37 chains to lightwood knot corner
thence 20.43 Chains due South to lightwood knot
corner thence 29.37 chains due East to lightwood
knot on East boundary Section seventeen, Township
thence on the same course 20.43 chains to lightwood
Knot corner, thence due North 20.43 chains to light=
wood Knot corner on the North boundary line of North
West quarter of section sixteen (16) thence 20.43 chains
then West to lightwood corner section 17, closing survey
   The tract enclosed by the above lines contains one
hundred and one 74/100 (101 74/100) acres

Alachua County  } Know all men by these presents that
I, Mary Rollins for and in consideration of the sum of
Forty Dollars to me in hand paid by Henry Washington
of the aforesaid County and State have granted, bargained
and sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant
bargain sell and convey to him the said Henry Washington
all that tract or parcel of land situate and lying in the
County of Alachua in the State of Florida, the same being Lot
eight of Section one in Township nine, Range Twenty=
one S&E containing Twenty five 26/100 acres, To have and
to hold the said described premises to him the said Henry
Washington his heirs, executors administrators and assigns in
fee simple forever- In testimony whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and seal, this the 18th day of December AD 1873.
