Alachua County } Know all men by these presents
that I, Israel Dooling a farmer by occupation
of the County of Alachua and State of Florida in
consideration of the sum of one hundred and
fifty Dollars to me paid by Joseph J. Jones
of the same County and State the receipt whereof
I do hereby acknowledge I do hereby give grant
and convey unto the said Joseph J. Jones his
heirs and assigns all that parcel of land situated
in said County and State bounded as follows;
The Homestead taken up by me and which has
vested in me by final proof to the United States Gov-
ernment in conformity with the Homestead Law
and Ten head cows and calves and the increase
from year to year, marked under bit in each ear
and split, Branded nothing, Ten head of hogs
marked under bit in each ear and split, one sorrel
mare mule called "Beck" well known, and the grow
ing crop that is made or may be made from year
to year of or by my labor of others on said lands
which I shall hire or by consent of Joseph J. Jones
for ten years and removed when he sees proper. To
have and to hold the within property to the said Joseph
J. Jones, his heirs executors and assigns to his and their
use, and behoof forever against the lawful claims
and demand of all persons. In witness whereof I the
said Israel Dooling together with my wife Nellie
Dooling who hereby relinquishes her right of Dower to & in
said property described have hereunto set our hands &
seals this the 26th day of January AD 1874

of the County Ex Officio Justice of the Peace in and for
said County and State personally came Israel Dooling
and Nellie Dooling his wife who being duly sworn say
that they executed the within and signed same for
the purposes therein mentioned and contained with their
free will and consent |
