Alachua County  } Know all men by these presents
that we Louis A. Barnes and Sarah R. Barnes
who joins her husband in this Deed for the
purposes of relinquishing her right of Dower in
the premises herein mentioned both of the County
of Alachua and State of Florida for and in
consideration of the sum of one hundred Dollars
to us secured by Madison Snowden of said County
and State have granted, bargained and sold and
convey unto him the said Madison Snowden
all the right to a certain parcel or piece or tract of
land lying and being situated in Alachua
County Florida Known as the West half (W 1/2)
of the N.W. (1/4) quarter of section five (5) T. ten (10)
Range 18 containing Eighty acres more or less
To have and to hold the above premises to himself his
heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee
simple forever. In testimony whereof we have here-
unto set our hands and affixed our seals this the 18th
day of February AD 1874.

Sarah R. Barnes who being duly questioned by me
first separate and apart from her husband and
acknowledged before me and under her hand and seal
that the foregoing relinquishment and renunciation
of Dower in the premises in the foregoing Deed described
and set forth was made by her freely and voluntarily
and without any compulsion constraint apprehension
