Alachua County  } Personally appeared S.Y. Finley known
to be the person whose name is signed as one of the sub-
scribing witnesses to the above deed, who being duly
sworn says that he saw the said grantor sign and
execute the same for the purposes therein expressed
and that he and J.M. Hall signed the same as sub-
scribing witnesses

By virtue of a decree of foreclosure of mortgage
granted by the Judge of the 5th circuit of Florida
for Alachua County in the cause of William A.
Maxwell vs. Charles P. Crawford, I will sell at public
outcry before the Court House door in Gainesville Florida
within the legal hours of sale on the first Monday in
January 1874 the following property, viz - Secs 35 & 36
in T. 7. R. 18 E & S & the following parcels in T. 8 R 18
E & S the E1/2 of Sec 2 & the E1/2 of NW1/4 of Sec 2 and NW
1/4 of NW sec 2 and N1/2 of Sec 1 in said Range & Township
to satisfy said decree -

Know all men by these presents that we Olivia A.
Porter and Watson Porter her husband of Chautauqua 
County New York State in consideration of the sum of
Twenty five Dollars to us in hand paid and by us received
do hereby bargain sell grant and convey unto Mariah Ram-
sey of the County of Alachua and State of Florida the follow-
ing described premises situate and lying in the said
County of Alachua and State of Florida to wit; Lot no-
five (5) in Township ten (10) of section twenty seven (27) Range
nineteen (19) containing five (5) acres of land more or
less; reference to said lot can be made to Deed Book
