This Indenture made and entered into on this the fifth
day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and seventy four between the Florida Land
Immigration Company a body corporate by the laws
of the State of Florida party of the first part and Phillip
B.H. Dudley and James W. Williams, composing the 
firm of Dudley & Company parties of the second part
Witnesseth - that the said party of the first part
for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred Dollars
lawful money of the United States of American to it in hand
paid by the parties of the second part at or before the en-
sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged has given granted aliened bar-
gained, sold transferred conveyed and confirmed and
does by these presents give grant alien bargain sell transfer
remise release convey and confirm unto the said parties
of the second part and to their heirs and assigns forever
All that certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and
being in the County of Alachua and State of Florida and
better known and described on the Public maps and records
of said State as the South East quarter of the North East
quarter of the North West quarter of the South East quarter
and the North East quarter of the South East quarter of the
North West quarter of the South East quarter of Section seven-
teen in Township Eleven South of Range Eighteen East; con-
taining together five (5) acres more or less - Reserving
therefrom nevertheless the customary Rail Road rights
of way on either side of the tracts and also such necessary
right of way as may be needed for easy access by way of the
streets of the town of Archer to and from other portions of
said Section = To have and to hold the above granted bar-
gained and described premises together with all and singular
the rights and privileges, immunities, easements and apperten-
ances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining unto
the said parties of the second part and their heirs, executors
and assigns as their absolute property in fee simple forever
And the said Florida Land and Immigration Company for
itself and assigns and for all others claiming by, through or
under it, does convenant and agree that at the time of the
execution and delivery of these presents, the said Company is
seized of a good right to sell and convey the same as it has
conveyed the same free and discharged from all
