This Indenture made the 28th day of February in the year
one thousand eight hundred and seventy four, between Joseph
G. Little of the County of Alachua State of Florida, party
of the first part and Matthew M. Lewey of the
second part - Witnesseth that the said party of the first
part, for and in consideration of the sum of three hun=
dred and fifty dollars ($350.00) in lawful money of
the United Stated to him in hand paid, the receipt where-
of is hereby acknowledged, do grant bargain sell and con-
firm unto the said party of the second part his heirs
and assigns forever, all that certain piece or parcel of land
lying and being situate in the town of Gainesville,
in the County and State aforesaid and better known
and described as follows: The South half of lots No. one
and two and lots No. three and four in Range No. one
together with all and singular appurtenances and
I do, for myself, my heirs executors administrators, cov=
enant with the said party of the second part, his heirs and
assigns, that at the time of making this conveyance I am
well seized of the premises, as of a good and inde=
feasible estate in fee simple and have good right
to bargain and sell the same, as aforesaid, and that
the same are free from all encumbrances whatsoever |
