the sum of Four Hundred dollars to him in hand paid by
the party of the second part, the receipt of which amount is
hereby acknowledged, hath bargained, sold conveyed and con-
firmed and by these presents doth bargain, sell, convey and con-
firm unto John Sweat his heirs and assigns, all that tract
and parcel of land, known as described as follows to wit: The
East 1/2 of South-east 1/4 Section seven ~7~ Township ~7~ Range
nineteen ~19~ East, containing eighty acres more or less all
lying and being in Alachua County and state of Florida
together with all and singular, the tenements, hereditaments
and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise ap-
pertainng. To have and to hold the same unto the said
party of the second part and his heirs free and discharg-
ed from all claims and demands of the party of the second
part and of his Trusteeship or her heirs and of all persons
claiming by through or under them.
             And the said Eliza Jane Johnson makes her-
self a party to this deed for the purpose of giving her consent
to the making of same.
             In testimony whereof the said party of the 
first part and the said Eliza Jane Johnson have hereun-
to set their hands and seals this eighteenth day of December
in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and
seventy-two.

Columbia County }  Before me, P.A. Holt Judge of the
County Court in and for Columbia County, Came Eliza
Jane Johnson who being by me examined separately and apart
from her husband Elisha G. Johnson says that she signed
the same freely and voluntarily and without and compul-
sion, constraint apprehension or fear of or from her said hus
band, the said Elisha G. Johnson. 
       In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my
hand and seal this 18th day of December 1872.
