Columbia County } Before me came C.O.O. Roberts and
Eliza Jane Johnson to me well known who acknow-
edged they signed the same foregoing deed for the purpose
therein mentioned expressed, and prays record for same.
           In Testimony of which I have hereunto set my
hand and seal this 18th day of December 1872.

Alachua County  } Know all men by these presents that I,
Charles E. Haile of the county and state aforesaid, For
and in consideration of the sum of sixteen dollars to me
in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
paid by William Doby Senior of the State and County
aforesaid,
         Witnesseth: That the aforesaid Charles E. Haile
has this day bargained sold aliened and conveyed unto
the said William Doby his heirs and assigns and ad-
-ministrators the following described tract or parcel of
land to wit: Beginning at the South west corner of the
north west quarter of the South-west quarter of Section
number thirty-five - 35- Township eight - 8 - Range eight-
teen - 18 - South and east and running east four hun-
dred and twenty - 420 feet; thence north four hundred
and twenty - 420 - feet: Thence west four hundred and
twenty - 420 - feet Thence south four hundred and
twenty - 420 feet to the point of beginning, containing
four - 4 - acres more or less. To have and to hold the
same, with all the rights, titles and interests of the said
Charles E. Haile, his heirs executors and administra-
tors forever in fee simple. And I, the said Charles
E. Haile do hereby warrant and forever defend the 
right and title to the same against the claim or claims
of any person or persons whatsoever, In witness
