bidder therfor, for the sum of twenty one dol
lars, to wit: North half of lot one (1) Block, three (3) Range
two (2), which said sum was the whole amount
of taxes due and unpaid on said piece or par=
cel of land, for the years aforesaid, together with the
interests and costs due thereon, and the charges
of such sale, and has been paid by the said
Elizabeth Wasson, to the said Poindexter Shem=
well, Marshal and Collector of Revenue as afore
said. Now, therefore, know all men by these
presents, that the Town of Gainesville in
consideration of the sum of recovery aforesaid
and the premises and in conformity with law,
hath and doth hereby give, grant and convey
the said piece or parcel of land above described
together with the hereditaments and appurte-
nances to the said Elizabeth A. Wasson and
to her heirs and assigns to their sole use and
benefit forever. In testimony whereof, I, Norman
Webster, Clerk and Treasurer of the Town of
Gainesville has executed this Deed pursuant to and
in virtue of the authority invested by law, and
for and on behalf of said Town, and have here=
unto subscribed my name officially and affixed
a seal, there being no corporate seal, at Gainesville, in
said County of Alachua, this 15th day of April
