Alachua County  } Know all men by these presents
that we, Pricilla Stephen McCall and Priscilla
McCall  his wife of the County and State aforesaid
for and in consideration of the sum of Three hun-
dred Dollars to us cash in hand paid at and be-
fore the ensealing and delivery of these presents, the re-
ceipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted
bargained sold and conveyed and by these pre-
sents do grant, bargain, sell and convey unto
Nathan Spencer of the State of North Carolina, the
following described real Estate to wit: All
that certain piece or parcel or tract of land, lying
and being situated in the County of Alachua
in the State of Florida commencing at the North
Eastern boundary of the Town of Gainesville Florida
according to Hunter's survey, reestablished by
Halliday, thence East four chains and fifty four
links to a stake, thence North nineteen chains
and fifty links to the Township line dividing Town-
ships nine and ten south, Range twenty East, thence
West fourteen chains along said Township line and
in a ditch cut by James Beattie to Sweet Water Branch
thence with meanderings of branch to a point due
West of the North East corner of the original survey of
the Town of Gainesville Florida, thence East to the
North East corner the place of beginning one chain
containing nineteen and 05/100 acres more or
less_ To have and to hold the same together with
the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining
to him the said Nathan Spencer, his heirs, ex-
ecutors administrators and assigns in fee
simple forever - And we do further hereby convenant
and agree forever to warrant and defend the said 
title to the aforedescribed premises and real Estate to
him the said Nathan Spencer his heirs and as-
signs forever against any and all persons law-
fully claiming or to claim the same. In
witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands
and affixed our seals this twenty third
(23rd) day of April AD 1874.
