of said Grant one hundred chains to the original point
of departure, containing three hundred and ninety=
six acres of land, more or less. Saving and excep=
ting out of said described lands forty acres in sec=
tion twenty six and twenty seven previously deeded
to Edward Haile. Also forty acres of land in section
twenty seven aforesaid, previously deeded to Olivia
A. Porter by J.L. Barton thirty two acres in the North
east corner of section twenty seven. Also ten and a half
acres in said section twenty seven, belonging to Ephra=
im Montgomery. Also Lot number two in said sec=
tion twenty eight belonging to M. Endel. Lot num=
ber five in section twenty seven, containing five
acres, belonging to Mariah Ramsey***, and likewise excep-
ting a lot of ten acres previously deeded to the
trustees of Ebeneezer Church, situated in said section
twenty seven, reference to said lots can be made
to Deed Book "I" pages 56 & 57 of the records in the
Clerk's office of said county - Together with all the tene=
ments, hereditaments and appurtenances with every
privilege, right, title, interest and estate, reversion, remain=
der and easement thereto belonging or in anywise
appertaining. To have and to hold in fee simple
forever And we do hereby covenant with the said
Annie L. Barton, her heirs and assigns, that the
said premises are the lawful estate of said Olivia
A. Porter, wife of said Watson Porter, and that we
do forever quit claim to all and singular the
aforesaid described premises unto the said Annie
L. Barton, her heirs and assigns. In witness where
of, the said Olivia A. Porter, as well as her
husband Watson Porter, have hereunto set their
hands and affixed their seals this fourth day of
March, in the year one thousand, eight hundred
and seventy four. }
