State of Florida}
Alachua County  } This Indenture made and *******ed
this the 22d day of November 1871. Between we, the un=
dersigned, heirs of the estate of Mary Gillett, dec'd, of the
County and State above written, of the first part, and
John C. Thigpen of the same county and State, of the
second part Witnesseth, That the said heirs of the
Estate of Mary Gillett, dec'd, for and in consideration
of the sum of four hundred dollars to them in hand
paid by the said John C. Thigpen, the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged have granted, bargained sold, con-
veyed, and delivered and by these presents do grant, bar-
gain, sell convey and deliver unto the said John
C. Thigpen, his heirs and assigns all of the follow-
ing described Lands or parcels of Lands, lying and being
in the County of Alachua and State of Florida and
known as Lot No. (2) of Fractional Section No. Eighteen
Township Ten and South of Range (22) Twenty two
East, containing forty five and four hundredths 45 4/100
acres, and the West half of the South West quarter of
Section 17 Seventeen in Township 10 Ten, Range
twenty two (22), containing eighty acres (80). To have
and to hold the said before described premises, together
with all the rights and appurtenances therein
belonging to him the said John C. Thigpen, his
heirs and assigns forever, And said heirs of the
Estate of Mary Gillett, dec'd for themselves, their heirs
executors administrators and assigns forever will
warrant and defend the right and title thereunto
against the claims of all persons whatsoever. In tes-
timony whereof the said heirs of the estate of
Mary Gillett dec'd has this day signed, sealed and
delivered in presence of us.
