Alachua County  } Know all men by these presents
That I, Mary E. Woods, of the State and County
aforesaid, for and in consideration of the sum
of One Hundred Dollars, to me in hand paid
by John Chesser, of the State and County aforesaid
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do hereby
grant, bargain, sell and convey, and by these presents
have granted, bargained, sold, and conveyed unto the
said John Chesser, his heirs and assigns, a certain
tract or parcel of land, lying and being situated in
the State and County aforesaid, known and de=
scribed by the United States Survey, as the South
half of Lot. Number three (3), of Section Number
Ten Township eight (8), Range nineteen (19), S&E contain=
ing forty acres more or less, together with all and
Singular, the rights and appurtenances thereunto
belonging or in any wise appertaining - To have and
to hold the above described premises unto the said
John Chesser, his heirs and assigns, to his and
their behoof forever, And I, the said Mary E.
Woods, for myself, my heirs, executors and admin=
istrators to covenant and agree, with the said 
John Chesser, his heirs and assigns, that I am
lawfully seized in fee simple of the aforegran=
ted premises that I have good right to sell and
convey the same to the said John Chesser, his heirs and
assigns, forever, as aforesaid, and I and my heirs
will, will executors and administrators shall warrant
and defend the same to the said John Chesser his
heirs and assigns forever, against the lawful claims
and demands of any persons whatsoever. In witness
whereof, I have hereunto set my hand, seal this
the eighth (8) day of November, A.D. 1873.
