Alachua County } Personally appeared before me a Judicial
Officer of the State of Florida, Annie L. Barton wife of
De Warren L. Barton, who upon examination taken
and had separate and apart from her said husband
acknowledged that the above relinquishment and renun-
ciation of Dower was made and executed freely and
voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint
apprehension or fear of or from her said husband.

County of Alachua} This Indenture made and entered
into this 17th day of January AD 1874 between Smithey
A. Peacock party of the first part and Jesse J. Johnson
party of the second part. Witnesseth that for and in con-
sideration of the sum of nine Hundred (900) Dollars to the
party of the first part in hand paid by the party of the second
part at the time of executing this Indenture, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, the said party of the
first part hath granted bargained sold and doth hereby
convey unto the said party of the second part all that
certain parcel or tract of land known as the North West
quarter (1/4) and the west half of the North quarter (1/4) of
section twenty seven (27) Township ten (10) Range twenty two
(22) South and East and containing two Hundred and forty
(240) acres more or less, lying and being in the County |
