the within Deed executed for the uses and purposes
therein mentioned

This Indenture made and entered into this April
1st AD 1874 between Elias Bauknight and Hen-
rietta M. Bauknight wife of the said Elias who
joins in this Indenture for the purpose of relinquish
ing and conveyed all her right of Dower in and to the
premises hereinafter mentioned and described of the
first part and Samuel L. Smith of the second part
Witnesseth that the parties of the first part for and
in consideration of the sum of seven Hundred and
fifty ($750.oo) Dollars to them paid the receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained
and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and
sell unto the party of the second part and do hereby con
vey into him all that lot or tract of land in the County
of Alachua and State of Florida described as fol-
lows; one hundred & seventy eight (178) acres in section
32 Township 11 Range 20 lying in the North west
part of the above named section, commencing at
the N corner of said section and running South 28 chains
to a stake corner, thence E. 65 chains thence N. 17° W to
section line, bounded south by Irvine Bauknight's land
East by A.R. Bauknight's land. Being & lying in the
County of Alachua & State of Florida being a part of the
Arrodonda Grant. To have and to hold to the said party
of the second part all our right title & interest in the
the foregoing described premises and the appurtenances
thereunto appertaining as against us our heirs executors &c
