Alachua County } This Indenture made this twenty-second
day of April A.D. 1873, between Oscar A. Meyers, of said state
and county of the first part, and Solomon F. Halliday of the
same county and state, of the second part witnesseth, That for
and in consideration of the sum of five-hundred dollars to
the said party of the first part in hand paid, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, the said O.A. Meyers hath
granted, sold and conveyed, and by these presents do grant,
sell and convey unto the said Solomon F. Halliday his
heirs and assigns forever, the following described property or
town lot, to wit:- Block two ~2~ Range five ~5~ lying and
being in the town of Gainesville of said county and state,
and parcel of the town lots of said town, according to the
survey and map thereof. To have and to hold the said
property or lot of ground, together with the tenements hered-
itaments and appurtenances, unto the said party of the second
part, his heirs and assigns in fee simple. And the said O.A.
Meyers, for himself, his heirs, executors and administrators will
forever by these presents warrant and defend the said
premises unto the said S.F. Halliday, his heirs and assigns
the claim or claims of all persons whomsoever. In witness
whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal the day and
year first above written.

sum of five dollars to me in hand paid, the receipt where-
of is hereby acknowledged, I, M.E. Meyers, wife of O.A. Meyers,
granted in the foregoing deed, do, by these presents relinquish
and renounce all and all right and claim of dower in
Block two ~2~ Range five ~5~ of the town lots in the town
of Gainesville, in said state and county, unto Solomon
F. Halliday, his heirs and assigns forever. In witness
whereof I, hereto set my hand and seal this 22nd day
of April A.D. 1873.
