Know all men by these presents that I, Cosmo
O. Bailey as Commissioner as aforesaid for
and in consideration of the said sum of One
Hundred and sixty Dollars to me in hand paid
at and before the ensealing of and delivery of these
presents the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge
have granted, bargained sold and conveyed
and by these presents do grant bargain sell and con-
vey unto him the said Francis X. Miller in
the County of Alachua and State of Florida the
following described real Estate, the same being
the land sold to him at said sale aforesaid, to wit,
All that fractional part of section five (5) Township
Ten (10) Range twenty (20) South and East situated
lying and being in the Arrodonda Grant near
the town of Gainesville in the County of Alachua
and State of Florida, commencing at a Stake
thirty (30) feet South of the South west corner
of the lot in the said town of Gainesville Florida
now known as the J.B. Dawkins lot, thence
East two Hundred (200) feet to a stake, thence
south seven Hundred (700) feet, thence due
west one Thousand two Hundred and Eighty
(1280) feet, thence due North two Hundred 
and Eighty feet to the south West corner of the
lot now owned by Mrs A.E. Taylor, thence due
East one thousand and Eighty (1080) feet,
thence due North four Hundred and twenty
(420) feet to the place of beginning, containing
Eight acres more or less. To have and to hold
the same together with the tenements, hereditaments
and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise apper-
taining to him the said Francis X. Miller; his heirs, exec-
utors administrators and assigns in fee simple forever.
In witness whereof I, Cosmo O. Bailey as Commissioner
as aforesaid have hereunto set my hand and affixed my
seal this 15th day of July AD 1874.
