Alachua County  } Whereas I, Cosmo O. Bailey, as Commis=
sioner was by an order of the Probate Court, in and for
Alachua County, Florida, made and rendered on the 
Fourth day of June A.D. 1874 duly and legally
authorized and empowered to sell the real estate
hereinafter described, belonging to the Estate of
James B. Bailey deceased, for the payment of the
debts, taxes and charges of said Estate, and whereas
due and legal publication of the time and place
of said sale was made pursuant to law and
in accordance with said order, and, whereas, I
did on the sixth day of July A.D. 1874, as such 
Commissioner sell the said land as hereinafter
described at public outcry, before the Court House
door, in the Town of Gainesville, Florida, pursu=
ant to said publication and order, and
whereas John W. Cannon, in trust for Alexander
D. Cannon, became the purchaser of said
land, at said public sale, for the sum of
Four Hundred and Twelve Dollars and fifty
cents, he being the highest said bid for the
same, and whereas, the said sale has been
confirmed by an order and decree of the
Probate Court in and for Alachua County
Florida, made and rendered on the sixteenth
day of July A.D. 1874, and I as Commissioner
thereby authorized and required to make a Title
for Alexander D. Cannon to the land hereinafter
described. Now, therefore, Know all men by these
presents, that I, Cosmo O. Bailey, as Commissioner
as aforesaid for and in consideration of the said
sum of Four Hundred and Twelve Dollars 
and fifty cents, to me in hand paid at and
before the ensealing and delivery of these pres-
ents, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowl-
edge, have granted bargained, sold and con
veyed and by these presents do grant, bargain
sell and convey unto him the said John W. Cannon
in Trust for Alexander D. Cannon of the County
of Alachua in the state of Florida the follow
ing described real estate, the same being the land
