signee And whereas, I, the sad V.J. Tobias, as, assignee
aforesaid in obedience to orders of sale issued at the 
suit of V.J. Tobias, assignee of Cohen, Hanckel and
Company Bankrupts, against J. Barrett Cohen Executor dated
9th March and April 2nd 1874, and to me directed by the
District Court of the United States for the District of South
Carolina, did upon the tenth day of April A.D. 1874, pro=
ceed to sell at public auction as duly advertised at Gaines=
ville, in the County of Alachua, in the State of Florida,
the lands hereinafter mentioned and conveyed, being a
part of the estate of the said Cohen, Hanckel and
Company, to wit: Jacob Cohen, one of the firm of said Co=
hen, Hanckel and Company Bankrupt, which lands were
duly purchased by William K. Cessna, he being the high=
est bidder at the said sale. Now, therefore This Indenture
witnesseth, that I, the said V.J. Tobias, as assignee as
aforesaid, for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty
($20) Dollars, to me in hand paid, the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold and
released, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell
and release unto the said William K. Cessna
all and singular my right title interest and
estate, of, in and to, all that certain parcel or tract
of land situate, lying and being, in Alachua Coun=
ty in the State of Florida, Known and described as fol-
lows. The Southwest quarter of Section number (30)
Thirty in Township (9) nine, South Range (20) East
containing one hundred and sixty (160) acres, more
or less, as conveyed by Geo L. Barnes, and Sarah C.
Barnes, by Deed, dated 8th April, 1870, to Jacob Cohen
and recorded in Book H page 284, June 2nd 1870. Togeth=
er with all and singular the rights, members, heredit
aments and appurtenances whatsoever to the said
parcel or Tract of Land belonging, or in anywise
incident appertaining and the reversions and 
remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof, and
also the estate right title interest dower possession
property claim and demand whatsoever both at
Law and in Equity of the said Cohen Hanckel
and Company and Jacob Cohen and of all others persons
rightfully claiming or to claim the same or any part
