County of Alachua} This indenture made the twenty-fifth
day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand, eight
hundred and seventy-two,
Witnesseth that I, Hardy Harvard of
the county and state aforesaid, do hereby give, assign, set
over and transfer, one sorrell filly, known as the McConell
filly, together with the future increase of said filly, unto my
wife, Mary E.A. Harvard, her heirs executors and assigns
forever, to have and to hold, to dispose of or retain, at her
pleasure, and the said filly is not given in lieu of, nor to
be considered as any portion of the dower to which she would
by law, be entitled to in my estate.
