And the said James W. Bevill and Candace
S. Bevill his wife, for themselves, their heirs, Exec
utors and administrators, doth covenant, promise
and agree, to and with the said Martha Adams
her heirs and assigns, by these presents, that they the
said James W. Bevill and Candace S. Bevill and their
heirs, the said above mentioned or intended so to be, with
the appurtenances, unto the said Martha Adams her
heirs and assigns, against the said James W. Bevill
and Candace S. Bevill his wife, their heirs, and assigns,
and against all and every other person or persons whom
soever claiming the same, or any part or parcel thereof,
shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents.

of the one part and Moses Simmons, Sidney Durant and
