presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged by
the said Moses Simmons, Sidney Durant and
Robert Robinson, Trustees of the Jerusalem Bap
tist Church, hath granted, bargained, sold, released
and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bar-
gain sell release and confirm unto the hereinbefore
named Trustees and their successors in Office in
fee simple forever all that certain tract or parcel
of land lying and being situated in the County
and State aforesaid and described as follows:
One acre in the South West corner of South half of
the South West quarter of Section four Township (8)
eight, Range (20) Twenty South & East: Together with
all and singular the tenements and hereditaments
and appurtenances thereunto belonging: To have and
to hold the said lands and premises tenements and
all and singular the premises hereinbefore mentioned
with all their appurtenances unto the said herein
before named Trustees and to their successors in Office and
to their only proper use and behoof. In witness whereof I have

I, R.E. Shivery, a Justice of the Peace for the County
and State aforesaid do hereby certify that Sallie Mitchell wife
of George Mitchell, who being questioned separate and apart from
her said husband, voluntarily relinquishes all her right, title
claim in and to and right of Dower in and to the fore
going described tract of land conveyed by her said hus
band to the said Trustees of Jerusalem Church. In witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the
4th day of September AD 1874.
