Justice of the peace in and for said County personally
came Jasper Osteen, one of the subscribing witnesses
to the within deed who being duly sworn, says that he
as one of the subscribing witnesses as aforesaid, did see
William G. Colson and Adeline Colson, sign seal and
deliver the same for the express uses and purposes therein
set forth.

   This Indenture, made the first day of December, in the year
one-thousand-eight hundred and sixty-nine. Between William
Marvin       , of the state of New York, and George R. Fair-
banks of University Place, Tennessee, parties of the first part,
and Aronsted S. Riviere of Alachua County Florida, party
of the second part. Witnesseth, That the said party of the first
part, for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred
dollars lawful money of the United States of America, to them in
hand paid by the said party of the second part, at, or before
the ensealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained sold
aliened, remised, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by
these presents do grant, bargain, sell alien, remise, release
convey and confirm unto the said party of the second
part, and to his heirs and assigns, forever, All that
certain tract of land, situate, lying and being in the County
of Alachua, State of Florida, being the north-east quar-
ter of the north-east quarter of Section five ~5~ of Township
