and entered into this the 26th day of August
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and seventy four between George F.
K. Beattie and Annie E. Beattie his wife
of the first part and Henry Elliott and
Edwin W. L'Engle under the firm name of
Elliott & L'Engle parties of the second part
Witnesseth that the said parties of the first
part for and in consideration of the sum of
seven hundred and ninety five and 60/100 Dollars
lawful money of the United States of American
to them in hand paid by the said parties of the
second part at or before the ensealing and de-
livery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged and the said parties of the second
part and their heirs executors and administrators
forever release and discharge from the same
by these presents have granted bargained and sold
