Note This relinquishment of Dower is a part of the
Deed of conveyance recorded on page 340
and belongs thereot as a necessary requisite
of said Deed from George F.K. Beattie and
Annie E. Beattie his wife to Henry Elliott and
Edwin W. L'Engle-

This Indenture made and entered into this the
16th day of March AD 1874 between W.K. Cessna
Attorney in fact for George E. Cessna party of the
first part and Elliott and L'Engle parties of
the second part both of Alachua County Florida
Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the
sum of One thousand Dollars to the party of the
first part in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged the said party of the first part does
hereby give grant sell and convey unto the party of
the second part his heirs and assigns forever
all the rights title interest and property in and to
the one undivided half interest in and to that certain
tract or parcel of land situated lying and being
in the Town of Gainesville in said County and
State and described in the survey of said town
as Block 4 Range 2 as specified in the original
survey of said town. To have and to hold
together with all and singular the rights heredita-
ments hereto belonging or in any wise appertaining
in fee simple forever. And the said party of
the first part in consideration of the premises afore
said the rights and title in the said party of the
second part his heirs and assigns does hereby
covenant to warrant and defend against the
claims of all others whatsoever In testimony
whereof the said party of the first part
