from her said husband, acknowledged, and does hereby
acknowledge, that she joined her said husband in the ex-
ecution of the above deed, for the purpose of renouncing
and relinquishing all her right of dower in the above
granted premises, and that the same was done freely and
voluntarily, and without any compulsion, constraint ap-
prehension, or fear of or from her said husband.

This indenture made the seventeenth day of August, in the
year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-two
between Helen I. Curtis, wife of Thomas T. Curtis, and the
said Thomas T. Curtis of east New York, County of Kings, State
of New York, parties of the first part and George Dallamore, of
the same place, party of the second part,Witnesseth, that the said
party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of
one dollar lawful money of the United States of America to
us in hand paid, by the said party of the second part, at or be-
fore the ensealing and delivery of these presents to the receipt
